The waves in the distance crash violently against shore, blades of grass nearby waving gently in the wind, in tune with the rhythm and song of the sea, amongst this careful rhythm and false pretense of peace, a hushed, panicked voice rung out amongst the song, begging you to come help the oncoming storm emerging on the horizon, an invisible one, that has yet to wreck the 3 clans living on the beach.

Sunclan is currently overtaken by a cruel, selfish and tyrannical leader, who snatched and stole the throne from the former leader, forming a dictatorship within the clan and changing the ways of Sunclan forever.

Fluvialclan is keeping silent and ignorant, afraid of changing their ways and facing this unknown danger, danger that can be sensed but not seen nor heard.

Sylvanclan faces towards the conflict, headstrong and determined, but unsure and unknown of the danger that lies ahead, all they can do is prepare, stay alert and desperately beg for Fluvialclan to listen to the chill of danger on the horizon.

Neither of the clans are aware of what exactly is happening in Sunclan, and the cruelty and horrors that lie ahead in it's wake, but one thing is sure, Sunclan is heading down a dark path, one that not either of them can predict nor stop.

Clash of the Eclipse is a text-based warrior cats roleplay server with custom clans: DayClan, NightClan, DuskClan and DawnClan. All of the clans have their own virtues and traditions, often leading to disagreements. With their bonds fractured, and a war breaking out, the clans must unite once again if they want to survive in peace.

This is a reworked version of the classic game Mafia. Each real-life day (or two), one in-game day or night will pass. You will each get a role, and will take your night actions secretly (PM me in the custom channel I'll make for you or in your faction's channel, if your faction has one), while during the day, you can talk freely among yourselves about what to do. The goal is simple: eliminate everyone who is not on your team, whether through killing at night, or executing during the day. But, it is not that easy: the villagers do not know who the other villagers are, while the Mafia, though small in number, know each other's identities. And watch out! There will be at least one neutral player among you, who seek their own agenda. Will the villagers find and eliminate all of the Mafia? Or will the Mafia be able to hide long enough to pick off the villagers one by one? Or will the neutrals be able to survive long enough to complete their mission? We'll find out when we play a few (aka over one hundred!) games of Mafia Returns!

-Every OC is new and created for this server. Using ClanGen sprites, traits and skills, RPers develop brand new characters instead of relying on OCs we've had since middle school. It presents a super fun creative challenge and encourages collaboration amongst members. If you really want to RP with some of your favorite OCs, this may not be the server for you.

- High rank queue: instead of applying for an open high rank and hoping you get it, everyone is simply put on a waitlist. This way, there are no politics involved in who gets a high rank and when. Also, due to the small size of the server, everyone will get a HR at some point, and will have the chance to play multiple HRs over time.

NOTE: Because we are aiming to stay small, being able to be active is very important. Every high rank position has specific activity requirements that must be met each month. We all know that real life comes first, and these requirements are not excessive, but they do mean that you should be able to actively RP on at minimum a weekly basis.

The current world is set in 2070. Outside the US, most countries are technologically advanced and entering surveillance states. Poorer countries are divided and owned by warlords and private armies. Rent is incredibly high, as is the general cost of living. The environment is decaying and the air is foul. Most developed countries are just corporate turfs, with governments owned by billionaire shareholders who typically encroach the rights of their citizens, who are all too broke and apathetic to care.

The US has suffered a societal collapse due to a massive civil war which sparked due to a growing divide in political views and a massive surge of militant radical groups. After the collapse, America is practically a wasteland, being fought over by multiple mercenary bands and militias who wish to gain control of North America in the name of either moral or corporate interests. Meanwhile, as other countries are in a state of repair, corporations are planning their eventual takeover of North America.

However a network of individuals who wish to get ahead on their own terms have established several nodes across the planet. These individuals identify with ‘The Underground’, the community behind this network. These individuals take up different jobs or services offered by The Underground for their own benefit (which is oftentimes to the detriment of other individuals who are also within the same network).

This game takes a focus on the network and the role its operators play in the chaotic and constantly changing world around them. Players have the option to influence the world / network around them via their decisions.
OpenHarbors uses multiple mud-like interfaces for roleplay purposes and building an immersive setting, simplifying TTRPG elements and rulesets for a more immersive / gamified experience.

Roleplay History Overview
When the hurricane hit, no two-leg was ready. Waters swept away two-legs and felines alike, leaving the port city in ruins. Ships broken and parts strewn over the cobbled streets; spices, fruits, produce, and cloths remained undelivered and scattered over the streets.
