Luckily, Rose, Garnet, and Pearl survived the attack thanks to Rose's shield. Years later, Rose happened to meet a man named Greg. After some time, she fell in with this human, deciding she wanted to create a new life form . .
That life form happened to be a gem hybrid named "Steven Universe".
