What truly sets Borealis apart is our approach to storytelling. We prioritize lore above everything else. Rather than building operations around what looks good in the moment, we develop detailed narratives first, then shape missions, objectives, and environments to naturally fit within that world. To support this, we maintain dedicated lore channels where members can explore the full scope of our universe. BSG is a small, competent Arma 3 group basing ourselves on contemporary PSCs and other non-Government entities. Our aim is to accurately and enjoyably replicate the wide array of operations these entities are involved in, embedding rich stories and other roleplay elements in order to foster a professional and entertaining environment.

These are some of the styles of operations most commonly carried out:

The 5th Rangers is a small-unit that is focused on Private Military Contracting work. We've seen it all, from HVI protection, grab and bags, to full-scale warfare. We partake in operations in all parts of the world leaving nobody safe from our grasp.

The unit focuses primarily on infantry elements with a aviation squad and reconnaissance element to support. Small-unit tactics and covert operations are our middle-name. Being a semi-serious unit, leaning towards relaxed, we know how to have fun and we know when to take a moment serious. Jokes are great whenever, and nobody is ridiculed for not knowing enough.
