Marchen Academy, A school for the children of fairytale characters and monsters.

Founded by the Fairy Godmother and a group of fairytale characters, and aided by Victor Frankenstein, the school was built to house and teach students. Originally agreed that both tale and monsters would be able to attend the school, construction was completed many moons ago...however things didn't go exactly as planned. Despite putting time, money and energy into helping construct the school, Frankenstein was kicked out, his existence of ever helping out with the school was removed, and only tale's were allowed to attend.

Things were peaceful for a while, generations of tales went by attending Marchen, graduating and going on to live their fairytales, but a storm was brewing...

The monsters, tired of being left out, having to hide in the shadows, made a decision that would haunt both sides forever. Some of them planned and carried out an attack on the students, leaving some of them gravely injured. Blaming the monster's nature for his attack, the school was hidden, with monsters forbade from ever setting foot on school grounds, forever.

But times have changed, both sides have come to regret their actions; tales for their treatment and broken promises towards the monsters, and monsters for their attack on the students. Over the years, peace was slowly made between the two sides, with finally this year monsters being allowed to attend Marchen for the first time.

It all starts with two brothers, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm. And a book, The two brothers were fascinated with dark magic. For they were con-men and had hunger for power. They were travellers among kingdoms and were writers. But what they truly wanted to be were immortals. By not dying they could continue writing there tales and spreading words, but as much dark magic that they practiced, they could never be powerful enough to keep on living. Which was there goal.

One day the brothers were practicing dark magic and created this book. They named it the book of chronicles but at the start. It was just a normal fairytale book, full of ordinary tales. Nothing more than a storybook. But the brothers had a plan. And word spread through the towns and kingdoms that this book was cursed, and the curse was fairytale characters in the chronicle book and there kin were all bound to this book and that they had to relive there parents tales in order for their bloodline to stay alive.

Fondée il y a plusieurs siècles par les grands conteurs du royaume féerique, Ever After Academy a toujours eu pour mission de transmettre aux héritiers des contes de fées la sagesse et les valeurs de leurs histoires légendaires. L’Académie veille à ce que chaque élève suive le chemin tracé par ses parents, assurant ainsi la continuité des récits qui façonnent leur monde.

Mais cette année à Ever After Academy marque une grande première : pour la première fois, des élèves dits Rebels prennent une place centrale dans l’école. Fatigués de suivre aveuglément le destin tracé par leurs célèbres parents, ces jeunes héros veulent changer les règles du jeu et écrire leur propre histoire.
