Note: we are believers in freedom of speech. If you can't tolerate talking to people with differing points of view, even if they aren't progressives, the space may not suit you. And if you can't tolerate the different views of progressive people, it certainly isn't suitable for you.

This server is ex-theists of Latin American descent who have left their religion, but of course everyone (regardless of whether they are non-Latino or not or even what religion they belong/don't belong to) is welcomed to join, we do not discriminate.

The Assemblage of Areté is the official community for Aretéanism, a modern non-theistic and humanistic religion which teaches that people should think for themselves, learn more about everything, and be the very best person they can be!

Aretéanism is still small, but is growing fast. It was founded in 2016 in San Diego, California; but now has adherents scattered around the globe in addition to the active in-person community in San Diego. We broadcast our Sunday services through Zoom, and stay in touch with each other as a community via Discord. Join our server to learn more about Aretéanism from those who practice it, and get involved in our weekly challenges designed to help us all be better versions of ourselves!
