I as the server owner value good relationships between all my members and wish to reinforce that within my server. We have surpassed our humble beginnings and boast a 200+ member count. The Enforcers of Truth novels glamorize us. Their pages make sure to never depict an Inspector’s white uniform stained crimson. They never show Bloodhounds interrogating traitors with increasingly vile methods. They fail to mention that Enforcers are often deployed on the most dangerous missions in the galaxy, and more than often do not return. There is one thing the books got right, though, because I myself insisted it, and it is this: Once you dawn your Cover of Darkness, whatever you were prior falls away. As a Server, the 17th has three main aspects.,
We are a global LFG server for helldivers from NA to OCE. We primarily speak English.
We are a light mil-sim server. You can do deployments to increase server rank, but you don't have to call officers sir or ma'am or schedule operations.,
We offer a variety of in-game challenges. These range from loadout restrictions and squad tactics to high-level solo ops and themed battalion storylines.

Super Earth formed the 17th Hellfire Fleet in response to escalating threats leading to the second galactic war. The fleet formerly aimed to secure the outer territories, putting down rebellions and monitoring extragalactic space. Following Operation Swift Disassembly, the fleet was assigned to monitor extragalactic space of the Yimir Sector, giving an early warning to nearby colonies prior to The Reclamation. In response to The Reclamation and other growing threats, the 17th Hellfire Fleet was reclassified from a peacekeeping fleet to a shock brigade. The newly formed 17th Hellfire Shock Brigade had its first engagement fighting automaton forces during the defense of Penta. Since then, the 17th has taken part of every major conflict in the galactic war, from entering the Gloom to defending Super Earth itself.

The 117th Salamander Regiment was created on March 2184, raised as the main fighting force of Menkent. The tough and sepia-colored fiery desert forged them into a versatile combat unit, unafraid of the hellish conditions of their homeworld. Their focus are rescuing civilians and attending SOS in long-range penetration missions deep behind enemy lines, using fire and plasma-based weaponry.

The 117th Salamanders is a Helldivers 2 clan made by lovers of HD2 and Warhammer 40k, playing on both PC and PS5. Our languages are English and Spanish. We welcome all those willing to spread kindness and managed democracy. No SOS is left unattended. No novice Helldiver is left behind.
