A good nerd server

Has good technical discussion and feedback in the related (and unrelated) channels. Very supportive of new projects and is a cool place for finding/sharing/learning interesting stuff. Not somewhere you go to ask for help hacking into accounts, or general script kiddie stuff. Doesn't take itself too seriously which gives it a friendly vibe, and has plenty of non-tech channels too for more casual topics.
