Speaking

So far there are people that know or are learning 9 different languages. English, Spanish, Hindi, Japanese, French, German, Korean, Russian and Chinese. We can always add more languages.

ES.habla is a small, minimalistic server dedicated to practicing spoken Spanish. The main focus of the server is speaking. 💬

Unlike massive language servers with hundreds of channels, complex bot systems, or paid lessons, this is just a simple space designed to get people talking.🗣️

How it works:

🇪🇸 Spanish Only: Aside from the rules and welcome text, the entire server is an immersion space. All chat and voice conversations happen in Spanish.

🏷️ Simple Roles: Upon joining, you click a reaction to assign yourself a simple proficiency level (Principiante, Intermedio, Avanzado, or Nativo) so others know your background.

🌿 No Overwhelm: There are just two general text channels for casual conversation, organizing voice chats, or sharing learning tips, alongside clean voice rooms.

If you are looking for an endless library of grammar resources, this isn't it. 📚 But if you just want a relaxed, judgment-free environment to improve your speaking skills, overcome the fear of speaking, make mistakes, and chat with native speakers or fellow learners, you're welcome to join.

Okay, I probably don’t have much time for you to read a long message if you are anything like me, so I will try to be a bit short in delivering the message. 😅

This server’s sole purpose isn’t just for debaters, but rather it is for passionate people whose medium of expression is debating.
I want people who did not have a chance and people who did have a chance to debate to share their perspectives, like we are out to slash each other’s throats yet respect each other’s opinions.🔫✌️

My main intention is for no one to hold back on what they want to talk about. I know it sounds a bit informal and very unparliamentary but I just want to be as free as possible on this server and want the same for you guys as well.

Voratix is an emerging global platform for debate, dialogue, and leadership. This idea was built on having a need for a space where ideas meet structure and words build bridges across borders. We aim to connect thinkers, speakers, and change-makers through live discussions, showcases, and training programs that work towards elevating the craft of expression and the ethics of discourse.

Our Purpose:
Voratix exists to create an open space for ideas: a place where dialogue is accessible, respectful, and grounded in curiosity rather than competition or ad hominem. We view speech as a performance, but also as participation in the effort to engage with the world and question assumptions in order to contribute to the collective conversation that defines our shared future.

What We Offer:
Through the Arena, participants engage in structured global debates that challenge their intellect and perspective alike. It is a live community that focuses on critical thought and clarity.

On the Stage, speakers distill their ideas to deliver high-impact talks that explore ideas with an emphasis on moving their audience.

Within the Academy, the process turns inward: participants refine their skills in argumentation, rhetoric, and delivery through guided workshops and programs that blend theory and practice. Here, learning becomes preparation for engagement, enabling the ability to think, speak, and (most importantly) listen with intent.

Voratix is a debating network and a forum for the exchange of ideas in a digital age. It aims to be a place where words help to shape perspectives and the world as a whole.

1.) Follow Discord’s Terms of Services at all times
2.) No leaking or doxxing any kind of personal information, including in direct messages.
Doxx threats (ex. blackmail) also violate the rules
3.) Use common sense
Avoid doing anything that is generally disruptive or harmful to other people in the server even if it isn't listed in the rules. Staff can punish you at their discretion. If you feel that a punishment made against you was unfair, refrain from complaining about it in the server and DM an Administrator instead
4.) Refrain from Bribing
Bribing is not allowed. So do not ask admins for roles or demotions of staff.
5.) No NSFW or NSFL images, videos, or gifs.
This rule can extend to lewd but inexplicit images as well, stay on the side of caution and avoid posting anything questionable
6.) Do not sexualize anyone in the discord, regardless of age or gender.
Additionally, do not make any sickening remarks towards anybody whether they're of a sexual nature or not.
7.) No racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, or general bigotry.
Everybody is welcome in this server, so irrespective of race, gender, or sexual orientation, and hate speech is not tolerated
8.) Targeted harassment or excessive amounts of toxic or inflammatory language are not permitted.
Avoid starting drama, and listen if a staff member asks you to stop arguing or tone down your toxicity. Death threats, suicide encouragement, or other similarly provocative language are against the rules
9.) Refrain from pinging staff unnecessarily.
Only ping a Moderator if you believe somebody has broken a rule or if some other situation warrants immediate attention
