Editing Station is a volunteer group that provides free, quality editing services for resumes and cover letters.

We also provide application review and editing services for students who are applying for college or graduate school applications.

We have a team of volunteer editors, and channels for you to:

* Request editing from our volunteers
* Ask questions or advice
* Discuss applying for school, ask for application review, or seek guidance for the application process

In addition, we also have some resource channels which include:

* Sample resumes and writing guides
* Ways to search for employment, internship, and career mentorship opportunities


Our rules:

「001」Hate has no home here
Absolutely no racist, sexist, or anti-lgbtqia+ behavior will be tolerated. Help us keep this server a warm and loving community.

「002」We are a free service.
We do not condone or endorse anyone charging money or paying money for a resume or cover letter to be written for them. Our goal is to help you learn the skills needed to succeed in your career. If someone approaches you asking for money, please let us know so that we can remove them.

「003」Your privacy matters.
Please make sure to at minimum remove or obscure your last name, contact information, and address from your resume or any documents. We want everyone to feel safe. If you do not feel comfortable posting your resume directly in the server, please DM @ai#0021 (she/her) for private assistance.

「004」We prefer google links.
For user safety, please be sure to post a link to a Google Doc and not upload your file directly to Discord. This allows for people to open your document from a link without having to download your information first.

「005」Giving good critique is a skill.
Make sure your critiques are constructive and respectful. We are all here to improve and learn from each other.

「006」Use the right channels.
Use each channels for their designated topics. Click the description of the channel if you aren’t sure what the channel is for.

「007」No NSFW content.
Not sure why you would need it, but if it's necessary for your industry, it can be handled privately.

「008」No spam.
Not even the canned kind.

「009」Mods are here to keep you safe.
The mods reserve the right to ban people without warning, as they see fit, if rules are broken or if someone is harming the community. If you feel someone is breaking the rules, please do not hesitate to contact us. This includes communication outside of the server.
