Uralics of Russia

Uralics of Russia is an imformal place for activists and learners of different Uralic languages of Russia (such as Karelan, Komi, Nganasan, Erzya etc) with complete lack of a politic component.

We have certain goals:
※ To create a place of linguistic discussion (mostly in English and Russian)
※ To arrange actual places of communication in languages themselves
※ To connect activists, enthusiasts and scientists around the globe

Sometimes we speak target languages, sometimes — create pieces of content (e. g. memes or videos). So far here in discord we have developing ecosystems (mostly out of learners) for Veps, Izhorian, Kildin Sami. We also have active individuals speaking Northern Mansi and Livvi Karelian.

What do we have?

※ Chats where you can speak Uralic language as your mother tongue or as language you learn. Also we have Russian and English generals.
※ Community art channels and authors promoting system.
※ Developed materials channels system, that contains videos, books, courses, music etc. in different Uralics languages of Russia.
※ Regular updates and openness to suggestions.
