Four thousand years ago, at the height of a long forgotten war, one which few still recall the constants of, a weapon. Was activate, and with it, the Galaxy was plunged into chaos and madness.
All restrictions a lifted. Nothing to hold one back as madness descended upon all that survived the initial weapon. Stars flickered out, others changed in ways that mortal science barely can conscience of, while whole civilizations blinked out of existence without warning.
Now, the fact hurtles towards its death as swaths of it are left empty and devoid. Those few that survived this unknowable war pick themselves up from the wreckage. Yet in the shadows of dying giants, new life springs forth.
Few pieces of that ages empire remain, but those few lucky nations fibs and reverse engineer to reach the stars. Resources are scattered and limited, bringing many to blows as a result, while others build and eye the limping titans that came before.
It is a harsh galaxy that’s been left in the wake of the **War to End all Wars**. Yet with history, it is a circle and as nations rise and navies gather, it is a lessen that is doomed to repeat itself.
