Really lovely server

I joined this server a couple days ago and I'm having a baja blast time. Everyone is very welcoming and very exciting. Including me, as I'm also very welcoming and exciting, and I'm so cool like a Wes Anderson and Edgar Wright movie combined. But then they sacrificed me to the fire pit. And started sacrificng themselves to the fire pit. Shoot did I join a sacrificial cult? Everybody living turned into turtles. Is everyone actually a turtle in disguise? Am I a turtle?
