UrbanBEARS is a student-led organization and open, inclusive community of aspiring biomedical engineers, researchers, and healthcare professionals that provides support to members in order for them to gain valuable STEM experience and pursue their goals in biomedical related fields. As an aspiring non-profit organization, we aim to increase participation and education in biotechnology and biomedical engineering by supporting chapters in school, fostering learning, and providing numerous opportunities such as internships, volunteer work, and STEM project assistance to students across our community.
