Welcome to Fairfield City, Florida, USA; the city where once dreams and hopes would become a reality and progress matched sustainability. Located 400 kilometers from the mainland, these two gigantic islands once represented the peak of human technology and advancement. Whatever crazy idea you had, it was made or was under development right here, gaining the title of "City Of Prosperity". That was, until everything changed with the prick of a needle.
A man-made virus leaked from a lab after an unrelated blast forced the workers to evacuate, one unknown man carrying the "Bloody Fever". The night of June 8th, 2024, that man died and reanimated as a flesh-eating monster. 72 hours later, the cities belonged to the dead, and the islands were put under an Exclusion Zone policy: nothing or no one goes in or out.
From the shadows and severely beaten, the remaining survivors grouped up, forming three main factions: Black Friday #4, the last remaining military outpost turned into a safe-heaven; the "Anarchy Gang", a group of desperate people from the slums; and the "Syndicate", brought by a former Anarchy Gang member.
You survived the outbreak, and are now cursed to seemingly spend the rest of your life inside. But will you survive and fight for a way out, or succumb to the claws of the undead and their mutated ranks?
