Welcome to Galaxy in Flames! A Warhammer 40k alternative lore roleplay server that has been running for nearly six years! Starting from 30k and now into 40k, just now beginning the events that start the Farsight Enclaves, the server provides a unique system and environment for individuals to not only make their own stories in the 40k universe but experience it on a galactic scale.

A solid, unique and welcoming server

I have been on the server for years now, it is a bit intimidating at first, especially the sheer amount of rules and stuff to read. But all that turns out into depth and endless possibilities over countless factions. The feeling of being able to partecipate and shape huge events with one's actions alone is priceless for me.
For the rest, I can testify that the staff and most of the players are always ready to help and willing to aid all newcomers at any time.

The server is very uncaring for the Original Warhammer 40K lore, the admins just abuse their power for their fun, the people are just rude and inconsiderate, and if you want to have any fun this isn’t the place to go

If I could give this server zero stars, I would. This was, hands down, one of the most frustrating and borderline disgusting experiences I’ve had in an RP community. First off, the moderation team acts like they're guarding some sacred text: overly strict, zero flexibility, and disturbingly obsessed with their warped interpretation of “canon.”
I tried to make a character with a Muslim-sounding name: not even a religious character, just the name since it was my name irl and they immediately jumped on me like I’d committed actual 40k heresy.
No warnings, no conversation, just instant shutdown and condescending lectures about "maintaining seriousness." It was blatant discrimination, and trying to pass it off as “immersion enforcement” is laughable at best and sinister at worst.
Not to mention that this server DOESNT EVEN FOLLOW THE ACTUAL CANON - and unlike the name, DOESNT EVEN TAKE PLACE IN THE 41st MILLENNIUM??
Abaddon is dead, the Lion is dead, Magnus is loyalist, the Khan is traitor? It all writes up like a disgusting little fanfiction and knowing those wetwipes that call themselves mods that do ego-searching on disboard they will ACTIVELY make a counter review so you can join their self-contained power fantasy: DONT do it.
Its not even just about warped character lore, they ACTIVELY bar you from other factions like Tyrannids and Necrons because I quote: "Theyre staff-only pets"
That alone should’ve been enough for me to leave, but I stuck around a bit longer just to see how deep the dysfunction went. Turns out: very deep. The clique behavior is unbearable: if you’re not part of their little in-crowd or a bootlicker to the mods, your roleplay gets ignored or picked apart. There’s zero room for creativity unless you’re already established in their inner circle, and even then, god forbid you try something that slightly bends their ironclad “rules.” The lore police will drag you through a wall of text and ban you if you so much as breathe in the wrong font.
And the writing? Mediocre at best. Half the server acts like they’re writing a fanfic for a middle school English class, but they’ll tear into your posts like you’ve defiled the Emperor’s tomb if you don’t match their self-important tone. The hypocrisy is unreal.
If I had the power to scrub this server's existence from my memory, I’d do it in a heartbeat. Avoid this place like a plague. There are far better communities out there that actually care about storytelling and not just jerking each other off over fake power structures.
