Just a simple issue but otherwise its pretty neat!
Surprisingly with over 100 people practically in this server, i was confused as to why and decided to join in. needless to say, i can actually see why. the staff here is pretty fun and helpful in some cases and some of the stands, whether it be cannonical or not, are downright damn creative. for instance, theres a stand here that has the ability of forming any everyday object via sugar. its a cute concept and really creative. the plot is interesting though you technically may have a hard time trying to get in. my only real complaint would probably be on how most of the staff are sometimes inactive, though it is understandable given their things outside of the rp. id recommend giving it a try, its a good rp with a solid layout and friendly people here. besides the small issue everything is practically fine in its sense!

Good but far from perfect.
Before I write my review on this server let me make one thing perfectly clear, I have not RP’d in this server and my experience is primarily focused on the community aspect. With that being said I’m going to start from the top and make my way down.

As far as the owner of the server goes he has shown that he is an active member in his own community and will at the very least listen to your suggestions should you have any. He has surrounded the server with a solid and active team of moderators who are cooperative and pleasant when dealing with a problem, they give more chances than I’d ever have the patience for and if you find yourself kicked or banned from this server that’s wholly your fault.

The most pressing issues I have about this server is the quality of the people that congregate here and the lack of a concrete warning system. People shouldn’t be insta banned the first time they slip up but at least give them an incentive to better understand the rules or make them realize that their behavior wont be tolerated past a certain point, staff leniency is great but should only go so far. These people should know that there are consequences harsher than a slap on the wrist, and that they aren’t above the law.

Hi, I’m a goat. And this used to be my favorite server. On Discord. But I urge you, stay away from this horrible place. The moderation is incredibly corrupt and the owner will backstab you.

(TL:DR AT BOTTOM) It's pretty lackluster.
So, I joined the server 1-2 months ago being a huge JJBA fan and have always wanted to make my own stand and roleplay it out. At first this server seemed pretty good, but soon enough it got extremely lackluster and boring to where I stopped roleplaying as a whole.

First off: The community.
The community at first seems pretty nice, with good amounts of humor (something I love to participate in.) and overall everyone seems pretty chill from the start.
But, this server has much more to it then on the surface.
First of all, if you're not known that well, nobody wants to roleplay with you. This especially applies for people with male characters who aren't big tiddied girls who look like an animated version of a 90's hooker with huge eyes and curves that defy the laws of a human body.
Nobody wants to roleplay with you, simple as that. If you're new to the server and post a roleplay request, 9/10 times you'll either get no response, or have to roleplay with someone else who is new to the server, because in the end of the day the newbies are trying to scrap for proper roleplay. Sometimes you meet a new person just like you who is literate and trying to make it through and enjoy the server as a whole.
TL:DR: If you're new to the server and one of your characters isnt a big tiddied 90's hooker, you're probably not going to have a good experience roleplaying.

The roleplay experience.
I swear to fucking god, the roleplay experience is so god damn boring especially for a roleplay based off of a no-filler all combat anime. It is so rare to get a proper combat experience in the roleplay if you aren't part of the plot of the rp, which I'll discuss later.
9/10 times all roleplays are borderline ERP with boring shit like "sleepovers" or just couples in the roleplay acting a bit too intimate for the no-erp rule. Every damn roleplay I see looks like a slice of life anime complementary with your bitch boy harem protagonist archetype character, and the overly sexualized female who serves no purpose except to be annoying or give your character a boner. Everything else is just filler.
But, the time when you get actual combat and it's actually pretty fun, it's really nice and gives you a break from the boringness.
TL:DR: 9/10 times you're never going to get actual shit what the anime is based off of, instead you get borderline erp and slice of life anime shit.

Part 3: The PLOT/Contractions
Now if you thought not being able to Roleplay was discriminatory enough, just wait when you're introduced to the "plot." This mainly consists of "kill bad guy" and nothing else. The issue is, if you expected to have proper combat roleplay and to make a difference on the story, think differently. Most of the time you can't be a part of plot, and the roleplay seems so disconnected from the plot. The plot has really no purpose, and if you aren't known well, you're not gonna get in it, and if you do... expect to be killed off. The plot just seems really discriminatory, you won't be a part of it.
Now, this server contains contradictions.
I noticed a major one where in banned stands Golden Experience Requiem was listed there. Pretty fair right, the stand can make you one of the most powerful characters in fiction ITSELF, so it should be banned... right?
Well guess what, someone got Golden Experience Requiem.

Now I understand plot exists, but to give someone the most powerful stand in the series all for the aspect of "plot" sounds kinda suspicious to me. It really feels like everyone who made it big in the server exists in their own bubble, like a little group of roleplayers in a server with almost 350 members and growing rapidly.

Overall, the server seems extremely promising from the beginning, but it suffers from so many noticeable flaws later on that really draw away from the experience and make you borderline want to leave.

TL:DR
Nobody roleplays with you unless if you're some bigshot or if your character is some big tiddy hooker looking character, in where it's really sad considering nobody wants to roleplay with you except to ERP. The server is full of slice of life anime bullshit that's boring as hell, and rarely you get into combat (which the anime this rp is fucking BASED OFF OF). And Finally, the plot is closed off and there are contradictions in the rules for "plot".

Probably going to get banned instantly from posting this, but I really hope the server owner takes this into consideration, and can hopefully make the server a better experience than what I originally dealt with.

Admin response
I typically don't respond to bad reviews. But this review is just blatant slander, I'm sorry, but it just is.

1. "First of all, if you're not known that well, nobody wants to roleplay with you. This especially applies for people with male characters who aren't big tiddied girls who look like an animated version of a 90's hooker with huge eyes and curves that defy the laws of a human body. "

The first part is just untrue. I know plenty of people who aren't "well-known", have a great rp experience; aka, they don't get "ignored". For the second part, what does this even mean? Honestly, a majority of characters don't even follow this "description" so I don't know where you got this from. As for the new player part, that honestly depends. Some people are just more comfortable rping with people they know. It happens.

"9/10 times all roleplays are borderline ERP with boring shit like "sleepovers" or just couples in the roleplay acting a bit too intimate for the no-erp rule. Every damn roleplay I see looks like a slice of life anime complementary with your bitch boy harem protagonist archetype character, and the overly sexualized female who serves no purpose except to be annoying or give your character a boner. "
Where is the ERP? Why is this even an argument? "Sleepovers?" Seriously, where is this coming from? Secondly, JoJo isn't supposed to be completely combat. And some characters don't want to fight all of the time, which is completely understandable. Oversexualized females? Where? Which characters? Harem protagonists? Some characters sort of fit that category, but not all of them. Don't generalize to make your argument look better. But seriously, this part I honestly don't understand, probably because you made it up.

"Now if you thought not being able to Roleplay was discriminatory enough, just wait when you're introduced to the "plot." This mainly consists of "kill bad guy" and nothing else. Alright this is just a blatant lie. Please read the lore and the arc rps before posting a statement like this. In fact, you aren't even active in the server in the first place, so I don't how you could make this argument. Both of the arc villains we've had so far have had names, backstories, character development, and creative stands. Obviously, I can provide some proof if needed. For your second point, that's just false. Anyone can be apart of the plot. It's just that, at this point in the arc, aka its conclusion, only the people who have participated the most can really participate. There have been several opportunities for users to enter the plot, like with the monsters invading, the gangs, etc etc. If you were active, you would know that. The plot serves a purpose, and that purpose is to provide an engaging and fun experience for everyone who participates. Well-known doesn't mean anything, as like I said, anyone can join. "Expect to be killed off"? Still don't know where this came from, as people who aren't "well-known" don't just randomly get killed off.

Who has GER? That's right, no one. Someone almost got it, but that was because the plot asked for it. However, at this time, no one has Gold Experience Requiem.

Not true, anyone can join the community. It is a public roleplay server. Anyone, even you, can join the experience. If you really wanted to participate that badly, or had any issues roleplaying, you could've dmed me, instead of making this slanderous review.

"Overall, the server seems extremely promising from the beginning, but it suffers from so many noticeable flaws later on that really draw away from the experience and make you borderline want to leave."

If you really didn't like the experience, like I said, you could've made a suggestion, instead of posting this. I have asked countless times for the server to provide me with suggestions on how to change, and funnily enough, you weren't one of them. Thank you for the review, but next time, please use factual points.
