Rajoissa's Rediscovery

Rajoissa is a frigid new world untouched by humanity. Beneath the permafrost lies treasures and secrets alike, awaiting those bold enough to take them. The Rescue and Exploration guild has recently established Fir Valley, a colony along the frontier and is pushing to develop the land each day. It is a place where pokemon can come to rejoice, free from the troubles of trainers and performative battle. Aspiring pokemon can arrive by ferry to stake a claim on these new lands and discover the bounty their new home has to offer.

Warnings ring out about scarcely explored lands. The continent was found inhabited, and not all its occupants wear friendly faces. While hostilities never breached Fir Valley’s borders, tensions rise when explorers near certain coordinates deep in the Rajoissan terrain. Few expeditions have even brought back pokemon with unusual wounds. These injuries resemble burns, but confessions leading up to and during the attack are inconsistent with current medical and environmental understanding.

This revelation has stirred suspicion among the superstitious. Relations remain amicable within Fir Valley for now, but a few prone individuals eye fire types with prejudice. Heat is a resource in constant demand. Without heat, many won’t make it through the night. Because of this, the guild keeps a close eye on civil matters to protect the fire types employed in town. Additionally, the guild is actively investigating these strange occurrences in order to clear the air. Proof of causality will be rewarded highly.

Whatever you think of Rajoissa, current mysteries only scratch the surface of a greater, and terrifying whole. You will experience encounters and phenomena stranger still in the glacial wastes of Rajoissa.
