This is an excellent Discord server for anyone interested in economics and learning something new every day. Fresh articles and educational content are posted daily, so there is always something interesting to read and discuss. The moderators are active, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or assist members with their studies. I especially appreciate that discussions are based on facts and logical arguments. If someone gets off track or makes a mistake, others respectfully help clarify the topic and keep the conversation productive. I highly recommend this server to anyone looking for thoughtful discussions and a great environment for learning about economics.

I recently joined this Economics Discord server as a beginner, and honestly, the experience has been really positive. The server has a wide variety of people from different backgrounds, which makes it a great place to learn, ask questions, and get different perspectives.
Even though I am still new to economics, I was treated with a lot of respect and given proper guidance by people who did not have to go out of their way to help me. That stood out to me because it can be intimidating asking beginner questions, but the community made it feel welcoming and helpful.
The server also has a lot of useful tools, including news article resources and other economics-related features. I personally do not fully know how to use all of them yet, but they seem really valuable for anyone trying to stay updated and improve their understanding.
One thing I really appreciated was that the owner of the server personally helped teach me a key concept for my exam. He genuinely did not need to do that, but he took the time to explain it and guide me, which shows the quality of the community and the people running it.
Overall, I would recommend this server to anyone interested in economics, whether you are a beginner or already experienced. It is educational, respectful, and genuinely helpful.

Bad Staff, Solid Resources

One of the members of staff, who claims to have a PHD and be a professor (both claims I optimistically doubt), has a consistent habit of being condescending, patronising and rude in response to requests for help. They’re impulsive, arrogant and have little respect for people of ‘lesser achievement’.
So if you want to join for good staff - Don’t.
If you want to join for friendly interaction - Don’t.
The only good thing in this server is a collection of channels that show new papers that are published in a variety of different specialties of economics. That convenient tool is the only thing of value in this server.
In summary - Good tool, bad community.
